pRDM - Physical compatibility RDM
For a simple WSFC clustering solution with low hardware requirements with RDMs
 * Virtual Machine Snapshots are not available
 * Support Fibre Channel (FC) SAN, FCoE or iSCSI
 * Clusters Across Physical Machines (不支援 CIB)
 * requirements of SCSI-3 Persistent Reservations used by WSFC
(specifically Write Exclusive All Registrants (WEAR) type reservations)
 * Fibre Channel (FC) only

In any configuration supported by Microsoft, is transparent to ESXi hosts and
there is no need for explicit support statements from VMware (iSCSI or SMB shares)

Microsoft Clustering Service uses SCSI-3 PRs commands to coordinate access to a clustered disk
resource. These commands (PR-IN and PR-Out) are emulated at VSCSI layer on a datastore.

Add Hard Disks to the First VM, first node of a WSFC,
for Clusters Across Physical Hosts with pRDMs

The hard disks you create in this task must point to SAN LUNs.

Click the New device drop-down menu, select RDM Disk, and click Add.
Select an unformatted LUN.

5 Select a datastore.

This datastore must be on shared storage because you need a single shared RDM file for each
shared disk.

6 Select Physical as the compatibility mode.

7 Select a new virtual device node (for example, select SCSI (1:0)), and click Next.
Note   This must be a new SCSI controller. You cannot use SCSI 0.

In the New Virtual Machine - Edit Settings dialog box, expand SCSI controller and select the SCSI
Bus Sharing drop-down menu. Set SCSI Bus Sharing to Physical and click OK.
