IMAP extension (RFC 2342)

功能:

hints about where to locate mailboxes and whether they're private, shared or public.

• Changing the hierarchy separator
• Provides support for public and shared mailboxes
• mails in multiple different locations with possibly different formats

Dovecot creates a private namespace automatically. This automatic namespace creation isn't done when namespaces are defined

"shared folders" 及 "public folders" 是兩件完全不同的事來

• shared folders <-- 用戶自行設定
• public folders <-- Admin 設定

disabled in iRedMail by default

在不同的 Linux distbution 設定有所不同, 在 Debian 上只要  enable acl plugins 就可以
