Dynamic disks use a database to track information about dynamic volumes on the disk and
  about other dynamic disks in the computer.

Each dynamic disk in a computer stores a replica of the dynamic disk database

A corrupted dynamic disk database can repair one dynamic disk by using the database on another dynamic disk.

Mirror

1. 將 Basic Disk 轉成 Dynamic

2. 右 Click "D:" 選 "Add Mirror"

Break vs Remove Mirrored Volume

The "Break Mirror" operation, will stop the mirroring on the selected volume,
 without affecting the data on any disk.
(Data will remain untouched on both disks)

The "Remove Mirror" operation, will stop the mirroring on the selected volume and
 destroys all the data on the mirror disk.
(Data will remain only on one disk)
