Group
Ring Group
All extensions in a ring group ring simultaneously if the ring group
is assigned as the destination of AA (DISA built-in auto attendant)
number. A ring group is a specific extension group.
Station Hunting
Description If a called extension is busy, Station Hunting redirects the incoming
call to an idle extension in the extension group.
Idle extensions are automatically searched according to programming.
Two hunting types are available as follows.
Circular hunting:
The extensions are searched one time in numerical order until an idle one is found.
If all extensions are busy, a busy tone will be heard.
If the calling outside (CO) line is assigned to DIL and all hunting group extensions are busy,
the call will be forwarded within the group until an extension becomes idle.
Terminate hunting
The extensions are searched from the
destination jack until the call reaches the highest jack number in
the group.
If all higher number jacks are busy, the search will
end and a busy tone will be heard.
If the calling outside (CO) line is assigned to DIL and all hunting group extensions are busy,
the call will be forwarded within the group until an extension becomes idle.
One hunting type can be selected for each extension group.
To leave the hunting group temporarily, use the Log-Out function.
To rejoin, use the Log-In feature.

Group Call Pickup
An extension user can pick up a call to another extension in the same extension group simply by going off-hook,
even if his or her extension is not ringing.
PBX Function
ARS (Automatic Route Selection)
made on an outside (CO) line
DIL (Direct In Line)
preprogrammed destination based on the outside (CO) line carrying the call.
Each outside (CO) line can have a different destination for each time service mode.
BV (Built-in Voice Message)
* voice message card required
DISA (Direct Inward System Access )
3-level Automated Attendant (AA) service allows a caller to dial a single-digit number
(Direct Inward System Access [DISA] AA number)
DISA allows outside callers to be connected to their desired PBX destinations without the use of the operator.
---
Call an extension by dialling the extension number.
Call another outside party via the outside (CO) lines of the PBX.
Access the desired extension simply by dialling a single-digit number (DISA Automated Attendant [AA] number) using DISA AA service.
---
All extensions in the DISA ring group assigned as an Automated Attendant (AA)
destination ( DISA Built-in AA [501]) ring simultaneously.
Each extension can be programmed for Delayed Ringing ( Delayed Ringing—Day/Night/Lunch [411-
413]), which allows extensions to be alerted to calls by flashing buttons only. Received calls can be
answered by pressing the flashing button even if the extension is not ringing.
Setting
"DISA Security Mode"
None: Intercom calls and outside (CO) line calls can be made.
Trunk: Intercom calls can be made. Outside (CO) line calls are restricted unless the DISA security code is entered.
All: All calls are restricted unless the DISA security code is entered.
"Delayed Answer Time"
Selects the length of time the caller hears a ringback tone before hearing a DISA OGM or a short beep.
UCD (Uniform Call Distribution)
Available extensions are searched for in a circular fashion in numerical order.
The UCD feature is particularly helpful when a certain extension typically receives more calls than other extensions.
Call Distribution
Calls are distributed in
the numerical order of
the jacks.
Queuing
When the destination extension is busy or is logged out, the call waits in the queue and
a UCD OGM is sent to thecaller.
